    Queens Park is an eastern suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia 6 kilometres east of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of Waverley Council. Queens Park is east of the park and suburb known as Centennial Park, west of Waverley and Charing Cross, south of Bondi Junction and north of Randwick. Queens Park was originally part of the Sydney Common and later the Lachlan Swamps Water Reserve. Today it is a large urban park, part of Centennial Parklands. It was dedicated with Centennial Park in 1888 as part of the centenary celebrations of European settlement in Australia.
